Texas

Rachel working on her quilt

Matthew's 7th b-day in downtown Prosper

Well we've been back from our trip to Texas for a couple weeks now but life has been sooooo busy since we got home with school and stuff that I havn't had time to work on the blog. We all had a really good time especially the kids starting with the plane ride. Our time in Texas was spent at Eric's parents house with his mom and dad. Fortunately, Eric's mom was feeling well and we were able to hang out with her the whole time. The kids did a lot of swimming in the pool, practiced their dives and learned flips. Eric's Uncle Tom came over on the weekend with his kids(Natalie, Nadine, Nathan, Nash and Naomi) who are Eric's cousins but our kids age. It was a lot of fun to see them and our kids love to be with them. Aunt Carrol and Mamo came over most days and hung out with us. Mamo taught Rachel how to make a quilt. A definite highlight and special memory! The other huge fun thing we did was go horseback riding - all of us! It was a lot of fun - a little crazy and stressfull watching Matthew and the others up on such big horses but they did great. It's getting late and my mind is turning to mush. Hope the pictures can fill you in a little more.

Hi Marie, I loved the pictures of your family on horses. It reminded me of my growing up days in Wyoming. Rach, I think it's so great you got to make a quilt. What a wonderful keepsake for always! We all love and appreciate your family.
